Anyone who believes that they have some valuable knowledge and skill in fashion always seems to strive to be chic and 'on point'. The rise of looking perfect, in terms of the overall look you're striving for, is a mantra many bloggers and editors seem to hold close. I was recently perusing a style profile on Leaf Greener who states - 'Sometimes it's good to have a little bad taste'. It hit me then that I too fall into the trap of trying to look chic and 'on point'. I will admit that there is a certain pleasure that comes from feeling that everything is just right giving you that certain Je ne sais quoi. With that in mind I decided that it was time to wear my old soccer socks how I wanted to. Who cares if it's a little freaky?
I think that from now on I will try to just get dressed in the moment without thinking too too much about whether I look like a sartorial masterpiece. Let's all just have fun - even if I look back on this outfit and feel it was a mistake the best thing is that you can just take the clothes off. No regrets.
