In realizing that there are less than sixty days left until the end of the year it's time to celebrate the beauty of style and the style of this past year! It seems that just yesterday I told myself to try new things without thinking twice. Even though those around me know my style to be very colourful and somewhat mismatched, there was still a consistency.
Today I want to focus on what gives me joy. The fact that every day is time for a new outfit, which represents the blank slate that a day is. With this type of mindset the thought of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day stays far away from my mind. Every day is a good day. I don't believe in fate - however I do believe that things occur at the right time. I no longer dress up and feel bad for going to class in an elevated outfit - I also stopped guilt tripping myself for being casual. These looks serve a function during the day.
It's also more than okay to wear things again in the same manner!!! I cannot stress this enough. Running this blog there are times when I wonder if I should go shopping to spice things up but no. My closet is not a store. Escpecially since items are made in a sweat shop one way or another it is important to love them. While we try to find better solutions for those who work in sweat shops love what they've given up their time to create.
And even when the question of whether you're being appropraite or not pops up acknowledge it and get on with your day! See people staring at you? Smile back - they may just be in awe of how good you look! (I myself have stared at many a stranger whose outfit was spot on)
