The only thing I've really really learnt spontaneously from uni this year is how to wear two dresses at once and really jump. My whole life I've never been a jumper. The thought of throwing myself over things is non existent in my head - so the field portion of track and field was defs off limits.
In every jumping picture (the ones that became the must have post High School Musical I) I was the lone person awkwardly sort of on the ground looking like I had troubles that couldn't be sorted out. If I had known sooner that what I needed were some heels and a small audience I could have saved myself from alot of bad pictures.
Layering clothing seems to be a preppy, proper thing to do for me. So I was surprised when I tossed on the second dress and didn't look like a total mess. It's my way of being summery in a climate that just does not seem to understand the concept of summer - or spring for that matter.
PS - It was great to have a wall with as much colour as I usually wear - meeting my match.
